Monday Market

We have a market at Stardust every Monday. It starts around 6:00 and goes until 10:00. Gaby runs it and she does a wonderful job: we are so grateful she has chosen our parking lot. I love taking the girls up there for my weekly collection of kale and other beautiful things. One woman has the most amazing basil I've ever seen! Right now there is swiss chard, kale, turnip greens, micro greens, lettuces, cauliflower, broccoli, beets, kohlabri, strawberries, just to name a few. There is always music and a lot of the kids dance, which is fun. For dinner, B likes the spring rolls and C gets a cheese quesadilla, or lately, she's been into the polenta from Tony's truck.  Usually I bring home dinner but last night, since my Mom is in town, we sat at the bar and had caesar salads with tempeh and a martini.  Then we brought Brett home a cuban. We always get  a couple of popsicles, unbelievable!
