Webster's Flea Market

Can't keep trying to think of my perfect first post so I thought I'd jump in with what we did a couple of days ago, and that is visit Webster's Flea Market.  Nice drive, lots of green, everyone was in a good mood. The last two miles were bumper to bumper but we were patient and, listening to the radio, time passed pretty quickly. We paid $2 to a very happy attendee to park our car (we assumed it was his land and was having a very profitable day) and started our tour of this place, which was so much bigger than I imagined. Most of it honestly was pretty junky but there was a section of really cool finds for those who collect.

We were looking for old tools for a project Brett is working on. We found a few. Mostly we looked through other people's things. After a bit we were hungry and I wasn't surprised to not find a whole lot of offerings for a vegan. So this was my lunch, which I shared with B, my youngest, also a vegan:

Oh well, not every meal can be sparkling clean.

  1. I've been craving french fries since you told me the story, but after seeing that picture, I am considering a baked sweet potato instead---
